DME is a viable part of the orthopedic practice if it is managed appropriately. In order for this to be profitable for your office, you need to be able to manage inventory, code braces, crutches, and other DME correctly, with HCPCS codes as well as
modifiers.

• The expectations of this conference is that the attendee upon the completion of the conference should have an understanding of assigning codes and modifiers for reimbursement on DME dispensed in the orthopedic office, in addition to the other  insurance guidelines and rules that have to be followed. We will also discuss tips on keeping track of the inventory of DME in the practice.
