Biography:

Stephanie Thomas CPC CANPC has over 20 years in the medical billing world. She owns a billing, coding, and consulting company and serves private practices across the US. Early in her career, she spent 9 years in a clinic as a billing and front desk manager, surgery scheduling, medical assistant, and more. Her unique experience gives her a different view on medical billing, understanding the medical office and flow, and how to create and implement processes and make them work to build strong teams. Her specialties are Family Practice, Urgent Care, Anesthesia and Pain Management, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Mental Health. She speaks nationally for many companies on billing and coding topics and has recently been retained for numerous cases as an expert witness for the prosecution, both plaintiff and defense.
